newdAlook v1.4 Sidebar One Click CSS

note: the html from the sidebar version is different from the one from the no-sidebar version.

Hey,
although these CSS journals make our life easy it does not mean that we don`t have to work at all :P so i`ll say some things you need to know here and please fallow the instructions. you can find them here :

ok so this one click journal does not add the divs and all the stuff needed to make the css look good so here`s the part that is missing. You need to copy paste this section in the : Content Box of your journal and then just edit the text :P it`s important remember if you don`t copy this there it will not look the same as it does in the preview. Once more you can ask me anything i will gladly help you as soon as possible, you can contact me though a comment on this deviation or a simple note :P

here is the code you need to copy and paste in your content box of your every new journal (btw once you did this once you can just copy paste the code from your old journal) : [link]

just click the link it goes to docs.google because i can`t paste the code here. you will find at that link the text you need to add to your content box.

Instructions about what you can delete and what not can be found here : [link]

Hey! I really like this! One question though! How do I hit "enter" and get a line space, instead of one continuing paragraph? Also, IT all seems to be in bold?

yes it`s all bold you can remove that from the css,i kind of disabled the enter part, but you can enable that too from the css:)

Ok, thank you!

I'm kind of new with the coding, so I'm trying to learn... So, how do you "enable" the enter piece?

Hi, I just wanted to say that I really love this CSS :heart:. It's sleek and organized, and is not distracting and looks like an official dA application. :love: This is really really nice. :)

I fiddled around with it a tad, just taking out the art feature boxes and adding more plain text boxes. I was just wondering if that was okay with you? [link]
If not I'm so so sorry and next journal I won't mess with the original code at all. ^^; I'm not a CSS savvy person at all so I was arranging my journal off of patterns, so I'm really sorry if I've messed up your code.

of course it`s ok, i made a box of each so people can see every boxtype, you may use all the boxes or just one.. or two, you get the point :P

Hiya! I recently installed this journal and I like how neat and tidy it is. However, I was wondering ig there is any way to make the stamps and groups show up bigger, instead of squished together and small?

I have tried researching some CSS, but I am literally a beginner when it comes to this, so some help would be very appreciated. Only if you have the time to help, though. ^^,

.journaltxt .clubs img{
width:40px;
height:auto;
margin:2px;
}
.journaltxt .stamps img{
width:70px;
_width:80px;
height:auto;
margin:2px;
}
there are the codes for height/width of clubs/stamps you can either delete them from the code and the images will be at the default size or you can change to adjust the width/height as you want.

change the code from what it is to:
.sidebar {
margin-top:-14px;
_margin-top:-4px!important;
text-align:left;
right:0px;
font-size:11px;
border-right:none;
width:150px;
padding:0px;
padding-top:7px;
float:right;
margin-bottom:20px;
color:#2C3635;
}
and
.journaltxt {
padding:0;
text-align:left;
font-weight:bold;
margin:-21px 165px 0px 0px;
_margin:-11px 170px 0px 0px!important;
padding:0px;
top:0px;
background:transparent;
}

this should work, let me know

Okay finally got my journal to work okay but just got one small problem. The titles are partially covered see [link] to see what i mean.

I'll send you a note with the codes so you can look through that, also in the instructions theres a whole heap of coding you said to put in the body, which there isn't actually a tab for, and footer was the only one that it seemed to work for at all so i put the codes for "body" in there, that wouldn't make much of a difference would it.

you should get the code from the link in the description of the journal css(above) deviantART enabeled a lot of stuff bus still you have to write the main journal code to get all the effects, just take the code from the docs.google and replace the text and you are ready to go :)

I used your CSS: [link]

But...there's a little problem down at the bottom. Some extra circle/square is down there for some reason (it's where my 'Mood' and what not is). =_=" How do I get rid of it?
